Audi A4 (B5)[]

The first generation Audi A4 debuted in October 1994, known as C5 internally, is the successor to the C4 Audi 80, this vehicle was built on the Volkswagen Group B5 (PL45) platform, which was shared with the fourth generation Volkswagen Passat. It had a front-mounted longitudinal engine and front-wheel drive. Many variations of the A4 were also available with Audi's quattro four-wheel drive system. The A4 was initially introduced as a four-door saloon/sedan; the Avant (estate/wagon), with also many petrol/diesel engines as option, including I4/V6 and diesel I4/V6. This vehicle also came with a transmission derived from the Porsche 964, named tiptronic automatic transmission, it is a conventional automatic gearbox with a torque converter giving the driver a fully-automatic operation or manual selection of the gear ratios. In 1998, this vehicle received major facelifts, a six-speed manual gearbox is provided, as well as the new high-performance Audi S4. Cosmetic updates were also made, including new rear lights, headlights, door handles, and another minor exterior/interior changes.

Audi TT 1st Generation[]

The production model of the Audi TT first generation was launched as a coupé in September 1998, followed by a roadster in August 1999, although the styling was very similar to its concept, little changes was still made, like slightly reprofiled bumpers, and the addition of rear quarterlight windows behind the doors. In late 1999 - early 2000, most Audi TT were recalled due to a high risk of a severe crash when changing lanes/turning in speeds higher than 112 mph, after recalls, Audi added Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) or Anti Slip Regulation (ASR) and rear spoiler were added, along with modifications to the suspension system, all future production also came with these changes as standard, in 2003, Audi made a facelift to the TT, adding some small styling and practicality improvements, the 3.2L VR6 engine was also added in 2003, prior to such date, the vehicle could only have a 1.8L I4. This vehicle has the Quattro 4WD system and surprisingly, FWD. Production of the First Generation Audi TT ended in June 2006.

Audi A8 (D2)[]

In 1982, Ferdinand Piëch had an agreement with Aluminum Company of America, The objective was to make a car that would be lighter than any other vehicles in its class so that it can compensate for the fact that a standard all-wheel drive was around 100 kg (220 lb) heavier than competitors' (mostly Mercedes-Benz and BMW) have a rear-wheel drive system instead, during late 1980s, it was decided that the target vehicle would be a successor to the Audi V8, By 1990, a final design for series production in mid-1991 was made by Chris Bird and Dirk van Braeckel, The Audi A8 was presented in February 1994 and debuted at the 1994 Geneva Auto Show in March, with full-scale factory production commencing in June 1994 although production was not until October 1996, for the 1997 model year that it became available in North America. Unlike its predecessor, the Audi V8 model, which was built on an existing steel platform, the A8 debuted on the then-new Volkswagen platform, variants for this vehicle included the saloon/sedan was offered in both the A8 (standard wheelbase), and the A8 L extended or long-wheelbase (LWB) version. The A8 L adds 5 inches (127 mm) of rear legroom compared to the base A8. And in 2001, Audi introduced its new W12 engine, a compact 6.0-litre unit developed by effectively mating two VR6 engines together at the crankshaft. The engine quickly became available in the A8, though only to European and Asian customers. From its introduction through its discontinuation in 2003, only 750 of the D2 "W12" models were produced, the same year also marked the debut of the high-performance S8 variant in North American markets, the next year, the A8 L received standard xenon high-intensity discharge lamp (HID) headlights, and a heated steering wheel. A tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), an updated Symphony II stereo, and new exterior colours were also added. For 2002, all A8 variants received a trunk/boot interior release lever to facilitate escape in the event an individual became trapped within, 3 years later, Factory production of this generation ended with 105,092 vehicles produced.

Audi S4 (B6)[]

The third generation Audi S4 quattro debuted its saloon and Avant bodystyles in Europe in March 2003, and appeared in North America slightly later, from February 2004, a two-door four-seat Cabriolet convertible also appeared and appeared in North America slightly later. This was based on the latest Volkswagen Group B6 (PL46) platform used by the then current Audi B6 A4. Despite having moved to an entirely new platform, one of the S4's most major new features was its new engine, the 4.2-litre V8 engine, producing 339 horsepower and 410 Newton Meters of torque, Engine management was by way of a Bosch Motronic ME 7.1.1 electronic engine control unit (ECU), using a Bosch 'E-Gas' drive by wire electronic throttle, and powering eight individual spark coils with longlife quad-electrode Bosch spark plugs. Ignition timing is a mapped direct ignition, with cylinder-selective knock control with the aid of four knock sensors. The exhaust system includes vacuum-operated valves in the twin rear silencers (mufflers), finished with chrome plated tail-pipes.

Audi A4 (B7), Audi A4 Avant (B7), Audi A4 Cabriolet (B7)[]

Audi introduced a revised A4 in late 2004, with the internal designation of B7. Although given a new platform designation, the B7 was a heavily facelifted and revised version of the B6, with improved steering settings, suspension geometry, new engine ranges, navigation systems and chassis electronics that includes the new advanced Bosch ESP 8.0 ESP The front grille assembly changed to a tall trapezoidal shape in the same manner as the C6 (third-generation) Audi A6; however, the dashboard and interior were virtually unchanged from the B6 aside from minor detailing changes. Many engine options were available for this generation, from the I4 diesel to the petrol V6, with many different engines for each engine category. Quattro permanent four-wheel drive remained as an option on most A4 models, Audi also introduced the new Getrag 6-speed, like before, multitronic continuously variable transmission (CVT), now with selectable 'seven-speeds', was an option for front-wheel drive models, whilst a conventional ZF 6HP 6-speed tiptronic automatic transmission was an option on the quattro four-wheel drive models.

Audi A8 (D3) Facelift[]

The second-generation Audi A8 built on the Volkswagen Group D3 platform was unveiled via press release in July 2002 and introduced in November 2002 in Europe and in June 2003 (as a 2004 model) in the United States. The model was longer than the previous generation, with room for four or five large adult occupants in the cabin, depending on rear seat configuration. The D3 development program began in 1996, with the design process commencing in Ingolstadt in 1997. The whole Audi design team based in Ingolstadt first contributed sketch proposals, from which numerous different themes emerged. Six of them were developed into full-size clay models and worked up in a traditional manner adjacent to full-size tape drawings. At least three one-quarter scale models were produced to explore other design variations. 2007 facelift included updated front fascia incorporating Audi's signature single frame full-nose grill. Complementing the pronounced styling of the nose, designers tossed the understated round fog lights, opting for larger rectangular fog light housings- inside a set of 'Side-View illuminators' have been integrated into the housing; aiding drivers in low-light or poor visibility conditions by automatically illuminating depending on speed and steering angle. Side-View Illuminators operate independent of fog lights, Updated tail-light assembly featuring much brighter and more efficient LED bulbs. Dual rear fog lights are still standard. New Optional Features included Full speed range adaptive cruise control ACC Plus, can now brake until fully stopped, Braking guard radar-guided forward collision warning system, "Side Assist" detects cars in the A8's blind spots, Lane assist helps when the driver attempts to change lanes without signalling first.

Audi R8 First Generation[]

The Audi R8 is a sports car developed and manufactured by German automobile manufacturer Audi. Conceived in 2003 in concept form, the R8 was put into production in June 2006. The Type 42 is based on the Lamborghini Gallardo and shares its chassis and engine, this was because both companies were owned by Volkswagen and those Volkswagen workers decided to save money by sharing parts. The Audi R8 was initially equipped with a V8 engine. Specifically, it is an 4,163 cc (4.2 L) V8 which produces a motive power output of 420 PS (309 kW; 414 hp) , and generates 430 N⋅m (317 lbf⋅ft) of torque, few years later, Audi unveiled th R8 V10 on December 2008. It uses a V10 engine based on the unit in the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 but re-tuned to have a power output of 532 PS (391 kW; 525 hp), and 530 N⋅m (391 lbf⋅ft) of torque, the engine delivers power to the rear wheels or all wheels depending on trim/model selected. Transmission for this vehicle include 6-speed manual, 6-speed single-clutch automated manual and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. Production of the First Generation ended in August 2015, following the introduction of the 2nd Generation in 2015.

Audi A6 (C6)[]

The C6 A6 was released in 2004. Designed in 2001, this model is visually an evolution of the C5, but was lengthened and has the new Audi "single-frame grille".
